Maisie Smith has put on weight during 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 19-year-old actress has revealed she's been eating doughnuts every day with her dance partner Gorka Marquez and has therefore been pilling on the pounds over recent weeks, despite doing hours of training a day for 'Strictly'.
She shared: "It's weird. Everyone always says, 'Going on this show, you're just going to shed the weight'.
"But I haven't noticed that about myself because I eat triple the amount of food I was eating before.
"I think I'm the only celeb to actually put on weight."
The soap star blamed her weight gain on her diet.
She told Heat magazine: "Gorka and I have a bag of doughnuts every single day, so that's probably not going to help.
"Then I eat a lot of fajitas. I eat them every day. That's all I know how to cook.
"Fajitas and doughnuts, that's my diet right now. That's something of a balance, isn't it?"
Maisie made the weight-gain confession shortly after admitting she's recently learned to accept her perceived flaws.
The soap star took to Instagram last month to discuss her body insecurities.
Alongside a series of photos of herself, Maisie wrote: "The past few years I’ve been VERY insecure about my legs. I covered them up as much possible. No matter how many people told me “cellulite is natural.. everyone has it..” I still hated them.
"It’s taken me a while but I’m starting to accept these aspects of myself that I’ve always seen as “flaws”. I wore gym shorts (out of the house) for the FIRST time a couple of months ago n I was so so proud of myself. wish I could I say that I LOVE my body but I’m still working on that (sic)"
