Little Britain' has been nominated as Best Comedy in the International Emmy Awards - and looks set to scoop the prestigious accolade.Insiders say the BBC comedy - which stars David Walliams and Matt Lucas - is the favourite to win at the ceremony, which is a spin-off of the American Emmys.It wouldn't be the first gong for the programme, which has incredibly scooped 15 top awards in just two years. Walliams, 33, has also been nominated in the Best Actor category where he faces tough competition from Rhys Ifans, who is nominated for his turn as Peter Cook in Channel 4 show 'Not Only But Always'.British television looks likely to secure a host of awards at the star-studded bash in November.Popular BBC drama 'Spooks' and 'New Tricks', starring Dennis Waterman, are up for Best Drama, while Catherine Tate is up for a Best Actress gong for her comic performance in 'The Best Bits of Catherine Tate'.BBC's 'Top Gear' is also nominated in the non-scripted entertainment category.
