A new survey by BABTAC has found that women would be more willing to cheat on their partner than their hairdresser. And the reasons for this? Women believe it's harder to find a good hairdresser than a good man. In fact two thirds are still looking for 'the one'- i.e. the one hairdresser not the one man.
Ladies place a lot of importance in finding the right hairdresser who understands their needs and 89% would remain loyal to the person who tamed their locks, unlike their partner.
When asked if they would cheat on their partner vs cheating on their hairdresser- a quarter would be more inclined to have an affair.
Women agree that finding a decent man and a decent hairdresser are both hard to come by, with the hairdresser tipping the scales. Just like the search for love, women are willing to put in the effort to find the one on both counts.
Emma Roberts, Marketing Executive of BABTAC, commented:
"Hair is very important to us, with many women (and men!) finding that a good hair day can change their whole outlook from the offset. Discovering a good relationship with a hairdresser who understands their clients' needs is like gold dust, so it's understandable that we don't want to upset the balance we have with our stylist. For many, that kind of relationship is as hard to find as the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow; once we have it, we don't want to let it go!"
