David Arquette turns 43 today so we have a look at his most famous relationship to Courtney Cox.
Arquette got married to Friends actress Courtney Cox on 12th June 1999 at San Francisco’s Grace Cathedral, after they met on the set of Scream. Her ring was engraved with the words ‘A deal is a deal’. The pair gave up smoking before the wedding, Cox having smoked since she was just 13.
Cox revealed that Arquette had some doubts before they began living together, but it seems that Cox was the diplomatic one in the relationship; ‘Before he moved in, David would say 'How are we ever going to meld together, because our tastes are so different? Maybe it's because we're truly in love that we can.’ (IMDB)
They had a daughter together, Coco Riley Arquette born on the 13th June 2004, Jennifer Aniston is her godmother.
On 11th October the press revealed that Arquette and Cox had separated, however said that ‘they still loved each other deeply’ and still maintained a friendship and business relationship. (Wikipedia) The couple still run their production company ‘Coquette’ successfully, which is responsible for the show ‘Cougar Town’.
In June 2012 their divorce was confirmed after two years of being apart.
