Primal Scream think recording with Robert Plant was the "most rock 'n' roll thing ever."
The 'Rocks' band recruited the legendary Led Zeppelin singer to appear on a song from their forthcoming tenth album, and regular vocalist Bobby Gillespie was honoured to be in the studio at the same time as him.
He told Classic Rock magazine: "He lives near our studio and he asked if there was anything he could do. He sings on the track 'Elimination Blues'. I stood next to him in the booth when he was singing. It was the most rock 'n' roll thing ever."
The album - provisionally titled 'More Light' - will also feature a guest guitar contribution from My Bloody Valentine's Kevin Shields, who has been a long time collaborator with the group.
Bobby also said quitting drinking and drugs has helped him become a better musician for this album.
He said: "I've got a clarity and perception I didn't have before. I'd have died if I'd carried on like I was. I was putting myself into some terrible places psychologically and physically. I'm free of that now, and I'm a better writer, performer and person for it."
