Black Widow & Captain America

Black Widow & Captain America

Captain America: Civil War see our favourite Marvel heroes divided and going head to head... however, we never got the chance to see Captain America and Black Widow do battle.

Steve and Natasha did have a rocky start in The Winter Solider but, by the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, they are a team... making Natasha's decision to side with Tony Stark a bit of a shock.

A fight scene between the two characters was storyboarded during pre-production but was something that never made it to the final cut.

Storyboard artist Darrin Denlinger has released some terrific scenes of his work that sees these two friends lock horns. Take a look:

This promised to be a really great moment and push Steve and Natasha's relationship to breaking point - such a shame that we never got to see it on screen.

Civil War is the third solo film Captain America movie and kicked off Phase 3 of Marvel movies.

The movie has been a critical and commercial success and has become the first Captain America film to gross over $1 billion - joining Avengers Assemble, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Iron Man 3.

2017 is set to be a busy Marvel year with Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Thor: Ragnarok all set to hit the big screen as we continue to build to Avengers: Infinity War.

We will be introduced to Doctor Strange for the first time later this year, with benedict Cumberbatch set to take on the title role.

Captain America: Civil War is still in cinemas.
