Today is National Wiggle Your Toes Day, a day to give your feet some love! So, with this in mind- here are just seven ways you can show your feet that you really care…
Get a pedicure: If you always focus on your hands- today is a day to shift that concentration to your feet- book in a pedicure at your local salon if you’re not into DIY beauty at home. Or if you are- make sure you have everything you need to give yourself a pamper in the comfort of your own bathroom!
Take a barefoot walk on the beach: If you are lucky enough to live near a beach- visit it- but before you reach the sand- take those shoes and socks off and feel the grains between your toes. Just watch out for shells and stones!
Buy a new pair of shoes: Treat your feet to a good quality pair of shoes that will give them all the support they need. If you’ve never been properly measured- now might be the best time to do this too.
Use a foot spa: If you have one of these tucked away in a cupboard somewhere in your home- today is the day to pull it out and give your feet a good soak. They do a lot of hard work for you- so give them a well needed rest with bubbles.
Walk on the grass: If you have a garden or live near a park- why not free your feet and enjoy the feeling of the blades tickling your soles?
Try a fish pedicure: If the thought of sticking your feet in a pool with fish doesn’t fill you with fear- then you could give this a go as an alternative to a traditional pedicure. Just make sure you check their teeth before dunking your feet in!
Get a foot massage: Make your toes wiggle with a relaxing foot massage. And if you have the time and the budget- ask the masseuse to do the rest of your body while they are on!
