Last week, the battle royale game broke its concurrent player count record when more than 12 million people tuned in to watch Travis Scott's live event.

But, after four more performances took place, the number has gone up astronomically.

A tweet on the official page for the game reads: "Thank you to everyone who attended and created content around the Travis Scott event!

Over 27.7 million unique players in-game participated live 45.8 million times across the five events to create a truly Astronomical experience."

This does not include the two million fans who watched the show via other players' live-streams.

During the rapper's event, he debuted a brand new song called 'The Scotts' with Kid Cudi.

Gamers also got some new in-game material, including an emote inspired by Travis' signature pose of him holding his microphone up above his head as he screams, which has been turned into many memes over the years.

Travis has knocked DJ Marshmello's record off the charts, as his in-game show on 'Fortnite' was watched by 10.7 million last year.
