Following a recent prolonged stint in hospital, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh and husband to Queen Elizabeth II has passed away today (April 9th, 2021) peacefully at Windsor Castle, a statement from Buckingham Palace has confirmed.

The Royal Family website has been changed to mark the passing with a tribute to the late Prince, who had been in the headlines as of late due to his ill health.

Pictures and memories of the Duke quickly flooded social media, remembering not only his incredible achievements throughout his life, but some of his funnier moments and slip-ups as well.

Of course, there will always be those who act with the upmost disrespect in what should be a situation of peace and love for ALL members of the Royal Family.

Rest peacefully, Prince Philip. One thing is for sure: you will always be remembered.

This week, it’s been claimed that Bridgerton breakout star Regé-Jean Page was rejected for a role as Superman’s grandfather in the television series Krypton, due to the colour of his skin...
