The 'Beverly Hills, 90210' star seemed to announce she was expecting her sixth child on April 1, but later revealed it wasn't true, disappointing a lot of her fans who hailed it as insensitive to those who weren't able to conceive children or had tragically lost a baby. However, she has defended her decision.

She wrote: "Every week, press outlets ask if I’m pregnant. To set the record straight, I am not. The fact is, after my fifth baby, my body didn’t bounce back like it had before. That’s when the constant questions of ‘yet another’ pregnancy first began. I feel like I have to constantly defend my body when instead, I should be honouring it for the miracle of life it gave me five times. (sic)"

Tori admitted she is surrounded by "wild and often hurtful stories" about her body.

She explained: "I would never intentionally poke fun at losing a child or not being able to carry one ... The [press] constantly creates wild and often hurtful stories about me, my body, and my family.

"For those of you that are hurt, I hear you. I love you. I welcome your stories and I will try my best to be there to support you. (sic)"

Meanwhile, Tori previously revealed growing up "under a microscope" made her develop "low self-confidence".

She wrote: "My Dad always said ‘Your eyes are the windows to your soul’. I’ve never forgotten that. Because of that belief my Dad rarely let his actors wear sunglasses in a scene. He believed their eyes conveyed everything. All emotions. I used to hate my eyes. When I started 90210 at 16 I was filled with low self confidence. Then, internet trolls ( yep we had them back then too!)called me frog and bug eyed. Being put under a microscope as a young girl in her formative years was hard. I spent years begging makeup artists on my shows and movies to please try to make my eyes look smaller. I would cry over my looks in the makeup trailer chair. (sic)"
