Pamela Anderson's ex-boyfriend Chuck Zito doesn't think 'Pam & Tommy' should be made.
The 68-year-old actor dated the 'Baywatch' star back in the 2000s but doesn't understand why the Hulu miniseries – which stars Lily James and Sebastian Stan as Pamela and her former husband Tommy Lee – is revisiting old ground by covering the couple's sex tape scandal in the 1990s.
Asked by TMZ if he thought that the TV series was appropriate, Chuck said: "I don't think so. It was so long ago, Tommy was so long ago. She's been through how many husbands since?"
Chuck added that he doubted that the series will particularly bother his former flame.
He said: "At this point in life I don't think she really cares."
Zito also quipped that the much-married star is trying to match Tom Brady's NFL Super Bowl rings tally after tying the knot for the fifth time with her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst last year.
He shared: "I haven't spoken to her. She's moved back to Canada so I haven't seen her a while and she got married again, so go figure.
"I think she wants as many rings as Tom Brady got."
'Pam & Tommy' was recently slammed as "outrageous" by singer Courtney Love and accused the show's producers of causing Pamela "complex trauma" by making the show.
Courtney fumed on Facebook: “I find this so f***ing outrageous.
When Pam / tommy sex tape was out / myself @pattyschemel @xmadmx were making a record. And the lone women in many recording studios in la . Where all / ALL! The staff engineers / producers / owners / were watching the sex tape with huge schadenfraude . . Guffaws , It was disgusting .
"I banned anyone discussing it. . It destroyed my friend Pamelas life . Utterly.(sic)"
The Hole singer also blasted Lily for taking on the part and described her as "vile".
Courtney wrote: "And shame on lily James whoever the f*** she is . #vile.(sic)"
