Courtney Love branded Lily James "vile" as she slammed the upcoming Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee TV series.
The Hole singer has branded Hulu's upcoming drama 'Pam & Tommy' - which stars Lily and Sebastian Stan as the former couple - "outrageous" and accused producers of causing the former 'Baywatch' star "complex trauma" with the programme, which focuses on the leak of the sex tape made by the pair on their honeymoon.
Courtney fumed on Facebook: “I find this so f***ing outrageous.
When Pam / tommy sex tape was out / myself @pattyschemel @xmadmx were making a record. And the lone women in many recording studios in la . Where all / ALL! The staff engineers / producers / owners / were watching the sex tape with huge schadenfraude . . Guffaws , It was disgusting .
"I banned anyone discussing it. . It destroyed my friend Pamelas life . Utterly.(sic)"
Courtney spoke out after being asked to give approval to her own image being featured in the series.
She added: "Last week I was asked to approve using a rolling stone cover of mine / shot by mark seliger in this piece of s***. That they had approved . I said ‘ f*** no .’ shocked . Gentleman don’t approve this sort of thing.
“My heart goes out to Pammy…further causing her complex trauma .(sic)"
She ended her rant by focusing her attention on Lily, blasting her for taking on the role.
She wrote: "And shame on lily James whoever the f*** she is . #vile.(sic)"
While Courtney may have been unimpressed by news of the series, it was recently claimed 32-year-old Lily is "having a blast" working on the show.
A source said: "Lily’s having a blast getting into character and playing dress up with the fake chest piece.
"The boobs really help her get into character and she loves walking around in them."
